Connecting the shop floor to the top floor is easy with Applied's Enterprise Integration Hub (EI Hub). The EI Hub allows shop floor manufacturing execution information such as WIP and equipment status information to be shared with enterprise business applications. 

Rules Based Dispatching
Solving complex scheduling problems is not easy. Applied Materials software uses discrete event simulation to test and validate decision rules and then implements the rules using real-time dispatching. Validating rules first ensures that new scheduling policies deliver the desired effect but do not disrupt production. Continuous improvement can be made to the rules so that new learning is applied and implemented immediately.

AutoMod – Designed for detailed analysis of operations. Although mainly used in manufacturing and material handling systems analysis, AutoMod's flexible architecture allows it to be used in a wide range of application areas, from shipping ports to fast food restaurants. The optional add-on modules will increase functionality for a rasnge of industries and applications.

AutoSched AP – Developed for modeling manufacturing operations where data is available to describe the equipment set, part routing, and customer order profiles. Typically AutoSched AP uses a link to the ERP or MES system to get up-to-date, accurate information about manufacturing operations.

ToolSim – Provides an analysis “test bench” for complex manufacturing equipment such as semiconductor cluster tools. Using ToolSim, decision makers can improve equipment performance and test their ideas prior to making costly tool changes.
