PRODUCT CUSTOMIZATION AND INTEGRATION

When custom applications or extensions to existing products are required, the Software Services Group is well equipped to provide them. Numerous utilities and libraries have been developed over the years to reduce the delivery time and cost of a custom application. The following is a list of select service products that address key areas:

CIM System Baseline Deployment incorporates a set of integrated Applied Materials products focused on specific customer CIM projects. Software Services (SWS) focuses on capabilities needed to support 300works, LCDworks, FACTORYworks 3.X, high-end PROMIS customization, integration, and deployment projects.

MES Deployment provides smooth integration for all aspects of the FACTORYworks and PROMIS products. Applied Materials will evaluate the requirements, create a plan for integration with other products as needed, and provide personnel for project delivery and implementation.

Equipment Automation offers several solutions for SECS and non-SECS related equipment. Software Services will evaluate all Equipment Automation solutions in the Applied Materials software portfolio, and select those that fit best. Applied Materials Services Equipment Automation architects will define the EA process life cycle that will be used in developing an EA solution.

Equipment Management System Deployment utilizes Applied Materials' product Xsite. This application contains a series of integrated applications that control all aspects of equipment maintenance, status activities, and performance monitoring.

Enhanced SPC Integration & Deployment is based on Applied Materials' SPACE product which incorporates an advanced SPC engine. Software Services provides integration and deployment consulting services for seamless integration with the MES system selected by the customer.

Simulation & Analysis utilizes Applied Materials' AutoMod product. Software Services can simulate alternative operational scenarios to help customers visualize the outcome of each alternative to help them improve manufacturing operations.

Real Time Operation Assessment uses a "bottom up" approach to solve critical manufacturing operational challenges. Software Services and domain consultants work with customers to identify areas of operation that could be improved and make specific recommendations on how to achieve those improvements.
