BACKGROUND CHECKS

Applicable Consumer Report and/or Investigative Consumer Report
A consumer report and/or investigative consumer report (background check) may be conducted for applicants with offers extended as a regular full-time or part-time employee, a temporary worker who will work for one of Applied Materials agency organizations, an independent contract employee, and candidates who will work at customer sites. Before hiring any employee, Applied Materials will, at a minimum, conduct verification of social security number, employment history, educational background, reference checks, criminal records, and the Denied Parties Screening. For certain positions, Applied Materials may conduct additional background checks, including but not limited to, an applicant's character, employment history, general reputation, personal characteristics, police record, education, qualifications, motor vehicle record, mode of living, and credit and indebtedness.
