AUTOMOD INTRODUCTION
Description: This course covers all the basics of AutoMod, including the process systems, to include conveyor, Path Mover, kinematics, power and free, AS/RS, and bridge cranes.
The lab is structured to provide one computer to be shared by two students to improve the learning and understanding of concepts taught in the class.
Who Should Attend: Users with a basic understanding of general simulation concepts (though no previous experience with AutoMod is required).
Detail: Discussions and exercises during the class will lead to understanding of the following subjects:
- Process system overview
- Variables
- Attributes
- Logic flow
- Resources
- Order Lists
- Other process system entities as required
- Movement systems
- Conveyor Systems — in detail
- Path Mover Systems — in detail
- Other movement systems according to class interest
- Brief introduction to AutoView and AutoStat
Length: The five day class will start at 8:30 am on Monday and last until 12:00 Noon on Friday
Cost: $2,500 per person
