PROMIS OPERATIONAL DATA STORE
The PROMIS Operational Data Store (ODS) provides external reporting and analysis systems real-time access to PROMIS data. In this 2 day lecture-lab course you will learn about the architecture of the ODS, and how to set up, monitor, and recover it. Specifically, you will examine how to produce the required replica configurations, and how to control the ODS through the new submenu. System management requirements, including journal files and logging levels, will be covered, and you will investigate recovering the ODS from a variety of disaster situations. In addition, possible uses of the ODS and ways of writing clients to connect to it will be discussed.
PREREQUISITES
Basic Understanding of PROMIS, Working Knowledge of Oracle.
