PROMIS INTEGRATION (RTI & TP)

This lecture-lab course describes the basic syntax of the messages exchanged by PROMIS/TP servers and clients and then provides practical lab examples. There is also a discussion of the syntax and setup of PROMIS/RTI files – the information PROMIS broadcasts to client programs – followed by some practical examples. Other topics include the setup and monitoring of message buses supported by PROMIS, an overview of PROMIS/RTI and TP architecture and a discussion of error proofing client/server systems. Throughout the course, there are examples presented of client programs written for different message buses and in a variety of languages.
