PROMIS ADVANCED EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT
This 2 day class introduces you to the methods for configuring and controlling equipment utilization in your manufacturing environment. Using real-life examples, you will learn how to set up and execute flexible definitions that meet the demands of complex, dynamic processing environments. You will investigate the sequencing of equipment status changes on a per-equipment type basis. You will learn how to control the transition of statuses specific to equipment types; assign initial failure codes to equipment and more precise failure reasons during the course of repair; assign capabilities for greater flexibility of equipment usage; manage multi-chambered equipment and cluster tools for production control; and easily implement equipment constraints to conform to your business rules or conditions.
PREREQUISITES: Basic Understanding of PROMIS; PROMIS Basic User or PROMIS Standard System Course preferred; Equipment Management Course and an understanding of RPM Expression Grammar also recommended.
