POWER & FREE MODULE
Modeling overhead trolleys and monorail systems
The Power and Free module is a hybrid of the Conveyor and Path-Based Movement Modules in AutoMod. Fixed hooks, or dogs, move along the conveyor and transport carriers which hold the load being transported. Empty carrier management is handled easily with the Power and Free default rules.
Power and Free systems are created in AutoMod by drawing the conveyor sections (chains) and editing the performance characteristics like:
- Velocity
- Acceleration
- Dog spacing on Power and Free chain
- Motors
- Photoeyes
- Carriers (Number, empty management)
