BRIDGE CRANE MODULE

Modeling overhead cranes in AutoMod™
Overhead cranes typically used for handling heavy items can be modeled quickly and easily with AutoMod's Bridge Crane module. The user defines cranes by defining the supporting structure (height above floor), the crane parameters (speed, acceleration) and the locations where the crane picks up and drops entities.

A bridge crane can be defined in a matter of minutes in AutoMod. Output statistics include percent of time delivering and retrieving, as well as idle time for the crane. Complex scheduling of the cranes can be modeled through the use of advanced vehicle scheduling features.
